Jonny Heinzen
I was born and raised in Glenview Illinois, located in the north suburbs of Chicago. I attended high school in Glenview at Glenbrook South High School. While I was a student there, I took a class called Intro to Graphic Design. This was my first experience with graphic design and I loved it. After high school, I decided that I wanted to change up my scenery a bit, so I decided to attend Fort Lewis College in Durango Colorado to get a degree in graphic design. While in Colorado not only did I gain graphic design experience, but I also grew a lot as a person. Over the 4 years that I was in college I learned a lot about myself, and who I wanted to become. While involved in the school’s graphic design program I grew a keen understanding of what good design is and why it is important. After graduating from Fort Lewis College, I began my professional graphic design career in Jacksonville Florida working for Swisher International Inc. During the two years that I worked at Swisher, I was given many responsibilities that pushed me to become an even better graphic designer in a more fast-paced and professional environment. After working at such a large company, I gained a greater understanding of the importance of constancy and precision in the design world. Design evolves over time, as do we, and businesses must adapt to this. My goal is to implement innovative design into companies so that they can successfully and easily express their goals and aspirations in a professional manner.
